Has anyone tried Rice Bran Oil?
Rice Bran Oil Verse Camellia Oil? Has anyone tried both? And was there a big difference in the oils and how your hair felt and scalp? I have tried Camellia oil and liked it. But have been thinking of trying Rice Bran oil because it is easy to get, and less expensive. Thanks any help would be appreciated.
Has anyone tried Rice Bran Oil?
I havent tried rice bran oil by itself. But it was in my Prann S&C, Ricebran Oil & Jasmine. I was very happy with the (discontinued ) Prann line of products in general, but that particular S&C was really great. If I could find rice bran oil somewhere, I would definitely try it!
Hi RavennaNight you can find Rice Bran Oil at Ebay.
I've read that it's good for hair and skin, and I've been wanting to try it, but haven't gotten around to it. I've been trying random oils at the grocery store, and they don't have rice bran.

Hi there,
I'm ashamed to say, I haven't tried rice bran oil but have heard many good things about it. I love camellia oil and also use apricot kernel oil which is very light and excellent for skin and hair. It's also very cost efficient. Most helpful in this economic downturn.
Unfortunately i've not tried camellia oil yet, and i've only used rice bran oil on my skin.....but on the skin it's amazing! I get mine from the supermarket, it's incredibly cheap there so before looking online and having to pay shipping or more as a "specialist" oil i'd check out the oils or gourmet section of your local supermarket, or a health food shop.
The heart would have no rainbow, had the eyes no tears.
I have tried both.
The rice bran oil was really OK, but I most often use camellia oil.
Rice bran oil was better than coconut oil though. No big noticeable difference from camellia oil, compared to the bigger difference from the coconut oil.
Thanks everyone for your input. I think I am going to buy Rice Bran Oil. I have Camellia oil and like it.
I prefered the rice bran oil over the camellia. And I think it's cheaper. Not that that has stopped any of us from buying an oil!
