DOes anyone do a ACV rinse pre or post CO?
I'm on one week of CO with Giovana Triple Threat Tea Tree CO and I'm looking kinda limp and greasy. I wash every other day
I use the CO method (have been for 2 months now) and I really like it. I also found that it does make a difference whether I put the conditioner on wet or dry hair (scalp). For me it's always on dry hair. It cleans much better that way.

I use conditioner on my scalp for CO. I don't see how you could avoid it and still be doing what I'd call a CO wash. My hair gets almost squeaky clean with CO washing. I had no adjustment period. It worked right away for me. I used to S & C daily but now I an CO'ing every 2-3 days. I recall that there were a couple of conditioners that left me a little itchy but I can't remember which one's they were at the moment. VO5 Kiwi Lime could have been one of them.

I've been CO'ing for quite a while now. I don't think my hair and scalp are any more greasy or less greasy than when I used shampoo. When you CO make sure you actually WASH with the conditioner, you know, using your nails or fingertips to massage the substance on your scalp and down the length of your hair. Don't just put it on, let it sit, then rinse it out. That is just conditioning, not washing.
Good luck with CO'ing. Many of us like it a lot.
Conditioner on scalp with CO wash. I don't have trouble with my hair getting coated or greasy any faster, but I've heard of people who do. It might be that my conditioner isn't as rich or as build-up-inducing as theirs, or that I just react better to it. CO is ideal for keeping my hair moisturized.

CO washing is near and dear to my geeky heart. I blog about it, actually (http://coloradocurly.wordpress.com). There's some chemistry involved that can help (or hinder) results. You just have watch water solubility to avoid buildup. When I started, I used a conditioner with amodimethicone in it. Over about a week, that built up into a nasty, greasy mess! Others don't have a problem with it, so it's sometimes just trial and error.
Good luck - co-washing was the ticket for me. I hope you find what works for you!
