Thank you, Roscata and SlightlySoprano! I've been reluctant to put castor oil on my length because getting it off my scalp is enough of a workout for my fingers. Lol
I have yet to try CWC after castor oil as I'm sulfate free right now.
Usually I apply a light conditioner while I shower, rinse that out, apply a heavier conditioner and wear that for a half hour, then rinse that out. It works for me But if I try oiling the length with castor oil, I'll definitely give CWC a shot! Thanks!
Someone already answered the castor question, as far as avacado oil goes, do you have any asian food stores in your town? I have found it locally at Uwajimayas, but I don't think they're a national chain.
The best place I've found online is wholesale supplies plus. They have shipping included in all their prices so you don't have check out shock.
CareBear, I love Uwajimaya! I think they're just in Washington and Oregon.

Has anyone successfully washed castor oil off with soapnuts?

I only do a light castor oiling (undiluted) at my temples/widows peak and only wash twice a week so some gets pushed into my hair - but I find my Indian herbs get it out. I currently only use Shikakai as I found Aritha/soapnut too harsh. I'd say your Soapnuts would remove it!

Woo! Hoping I can get a bunch of new growth with castor oil and I've been testing out some soapnuts of late! Not entirely sure if they're suitable, but we'll see!
