I have tried Heidi's method and it did work. Here are some pictures:

I learned this method of straightening hair back in 1973....... Doesn't that make me old? My aunt from Chile (S.A.) taught us this when long straight hair was so popular. It works great except my hair would 'hurt' when I combed it out. I should say my scalp was extra tender where i would part it against the direction it was dried in. It does work well if you are very careful and use Lots of pins .
