Mega Tek /Ovation cell therapy for growing hair fast?

This seems to be the new craze amongst a few other forums I lurk at.

Has the craze hit here yet? Sounds very promising.....

People are really raving this product made for horses (Mega tek) is making their hair longer & thicker. It is approved for human use as well.

I've used Megatek and it's a great conditioner. Not sure if it made my hair grow faster, but it smelt good! There have been various crazes for using it. I found that it was best to follow a CO with it with another CO, as there's a lot of protein which can be drying. Somewhere I have a photo of the tremendous shine I got as a result.

I used the cell therapy and I like the results. Since I am a curly it was important to find something that would give slip so I could detangle in the shower. This stuff really will do that! I usually detangle with it under running water since when you are putting it in you have to massage it around.

As far as length goes, I think I am seeing more but I'm not really sure, I don't measure so that is a a guess. I do think it helped with my shedding though. The only problem is the price, Yikes! Since I am in college I am not going to have wads of extra cash laying around so I have only had one bottle and have used that sparingly. If I had the money for it I think I would have used it more frequently and seen better results.

I ordered it in the UK and had it delivered to a friend there, but there was a German on-line stockist. I just didn't have a German bank account at the time.

Well i only read the first page of that thread as there are over 300 pages of it! But wow it really seems promising, mind you, for the price of that ovation stuff it needs to be bloody good!! I did some reading around and it does seem popular....though reading the ingredients it doesn't seem that there's an awful lot in it that explains the results.
If it wasn't so expensive i'd give it a go....though i might see if i can find a horsey place around here and see how much that mega tek is there.....the thread rekons that's the one that really thickens so i would probably go for that one.....the garlic capsules recommendation for shedding looked interesting....i wonder if it's the sulphur or something else in it.

I bumped the original Mega-Tek thread a few weeks ago, and only one kindly forumite responded. I've been using it for almost a month now-only on my scalp in the evening-and I'm truly impressed. My hair never seems to grow. I haven't even hennaed every month since my few grays weren't standing out much. But I had more than a half inch in roots in 2 wks. I did a henna, and now, a week later, I have a quarter inch. The bottle will last a long time if you only use it as a scalp treatment. And...I love the cream rinse, two leave-in sprays and the the Survivor. The survivor smells too strong, imo, but if you're looking for a serum (not detangler) that is silicone-free, natural and works, it's amazing. It works well with every shampoo and soap bar I've used, as well as my KCCC and MGA gel.
