I came to read on menstrual cups. It was mentioned at a mothering forum. Never thought about long hair before then.

I loved braids and hairstyles, so I did a lot of searches all over the place for new inspiration and direction. This site came up all over the place in searches like those, mostly on Google, sometimes on YouTube. So I ended up joining for a place to talk to other people who could do complicated styles on their hair too, and I have been gradually being converted to doing far more buns, and now actively growing out my hair
I had grown out my hair to below bra-strap and needed some good ideas for an updo. There was another longhair site I looked at and there was mention of LHC so I came over and checked it out. Been here a long time now. The other site is gone, and I don't recall the name. It was mostly pretty pictures of long hair, not so much care of, or growing tips, and certainly not much for updo tips.
Opting out of Friend Requests, thank you very much!
I don't quite remember, but I'm pretty sure it had to do with me Google searching how to grow out bleached hair! I ended up chopping my very damaged waist length hair to collarbone after joining LHC officially.

I wanted to grow out my hair, and I was googling around for "how to get long hair" or something to that effect.
Now I'm still here! I came for the hair growing tips, and stayed for the community!
I first heard of LHC through a Youtube video about someone who'd grown out their hair - can't remember who it was though! I feel like the video was fairly old too, so am glad LHC is still around
When I was a teen (14 to 15 in 201 I found by a google search about long hair care. I had a terrifying cut (near my ears) in january 2019. I create an account in 2019, but I can't access it. At 2020, my hair was in the chin (the ear-cut was uneven, I had to adjust during the year) and I started growing it since then. The forum has a lot of helpful tips and discussions, something I can't find in portuguese (boards aren't common here).
A couple of years ago I was looking for information about using henna and generally herbal hair care. I didn't join at the time because of my poor english, but I'm here now! So, google
