Thank you Pixie! I shall remember what you said for further use. I decided to postpone the red henna until my hair get longer.

I started using it almost 4 weeks ago and yes, my hair is growing faster but more importantly, after watching that video I think I might have a solution to my

    thinning hair shaft problem

It's hormonal and age related according to my research. As you age the amount of hair on your head decreases as well for some (ME) the thickness of each hair shaft. This cream it appears, may reduce the hormonal receptors on the hair shaft thereby making reducing the effects of lower estrogen and as a consequence, higher testosterone. Women can experience male pattern type thinning as they age and some like me will get the thinning of each hair.

I might be crazy but already at the scalp the hair shafts look a tiny bit thicker.

This is going to be a year long experiment for me unless I get some bad side effect. I'm not worried about faster growth but I'd be over the moon if I can get back the medium hair I once had. It hangs better, flows better than this super fine stuff that has been coming in since I passed the 45 year mark.

How often do you have to use Monistat for it to be effective?

I only really wash my hair once or twice a week, can I use it the night before a wash day or...?

Bought my first tube and a spray bottle yesterday. Hair measures in at 37 inches. I will keep y'all updated on my new hair growth.

I hope this works for me, because, well, I'm vain. And thinning hair, slow-growing hair are just major annoyances to me.

I will take before and after photos. Timming tomarrow, 1st before shot will be taken then. Wish me luck!

millyaulait - I've been using it 3-4 times a week, and I only wash my hair about twice a week. I like to put it on my head right after I shower so it can be on there longer. I'm using the name brand so I don't really have a problem with it being oily.

AFM - I'm currently on week 3. Week 1, my hair grew 1/4". Week 2, my hair grew slightly less than 1/4. Even though its still WAY better than my usual 1/8", I was still a little disappointed. So for this week I've upped the concentration. I'll know on Sunday if its made a difference.

I use it 3 times a week diluted... My wash day is Thursday and my co wash day is Sunday so my mn days are Tuesday, Wednesday, and Saturday.

Ok, this is..incredible, to say the least! I have to try it.
    I'm buying some Monistat tomorrow.

I would like to know WHY and HOW it works, exactly. Is the natural fungus present on everyone's head (overgrowth causes dandruff), invading the hair follicle and slowing down the growth? Is it that simple!
