It would dilute it in the sense that it would be less red. More coppery/orange. It would not lighten your base color, however, if that's what you're asking.

Nothing you add to henna will lighten it. Cassia will shift the cololur warmer IME and amla and indifo shift it cooler. Cassia does impart a nice shine though.
It should still have good coverage. Cassia can even be used without the henna (gives faint golden tones if you have super pale hair otherwise it will thicken and add shine with no visible colour change) The mix you use is up to you and how much stain you are looking for.
