Default Question about avocado hair masks

I've just read that Adriana Lima swears by avocado hair masks and I was wondering if they are more of a protein treatment or a moisture treatment? My hair really hates any type of protein and at the moment needs some moisture as it feels like Velcro :,(.
Any advice would be appreciated lots

    It's a moisture treatment.

Probably moisture-slash-oil treatment. Be forewarned: mixing fruit- and veggie-based masks (or preferably blending them) is essential. Banana masks are especially notorious for leaving little bits in your hair if they're not blended to death first.
