Good stuff shirohane! Your hair looks really healthy!
That reminds me, I need to get my 1 year up here.

proo, I generally do just my ends with a spritz of water and some olive oil or sesame oil (my preference), it's probably only 1 cm of hair, no more. I just find when I cut my hair, it interferes with the whole balance if I don't moisturize. With just that bit, eventually, sebum will replace the oil, but in the meantime, my scalp won't freak because of the imbalance caused by the trim. But it's been since August since I trimmed my hair - I'm pretty sure anyway - so maybe it will react differently since it's been so long? In any case, I'm not going to take any chances.

I had bangs for a while, and I did anything to just make them behave. LOL

Maybe consider making a dry shampoo? You can use a cornstarch/cocoa mix if you have brunette hair, or just use cornstarch if you have lighter hair.
Oiii, I really don't want to go WO on my bangs, but I guess I'll have to at some point. My forehead does tend to be oily too, which will probably make the transition harder. Oh well :/ I may fiddle with dry shampoo, like you said. Thanks!

Well, I didn't hate them yesterday, but I didn't feel comfortable either. I wore my hair down and no one looked at me strangely as I walked down he street. I ended up going a bit shorter and they're long enough to hang in my eyes, or do a side sweep. Now that I've had a shower, and the steam has brought back my curl (my bangs do spirals), i feel much more comfortable, although my bun is so much smaller! I think I could have made a wig out of the hair I took off! And that's without having touched my length (which is still MBL). What I found interesting is I curled them under with a finger (when they were straight yesterday after the cut), and they stayed like that until I went to bed. Sebum's awesome!

As far as NW/SO is concerned. My scalp did do a little freak out, despite my sesame oil use. I had to do an extra long scritch last night, to clean it all off; my hair was extra sebumy. I have to say, it is certainly motivating me to get that lice comb sooner rather than later!

All in all, no regrets. They are gigable.

Ok. It's hard to jump up and down in sync with you over bangs that I can't actually see, though.
