There's nothing newish in my 5 year old house that I can think of, and I avoid all synthetic fragrances. I find that my nose is really sensitive to them, now that I am used to not having things "frangranced" all the time. I'm getting a new car next week,
(first one ever
) and I'm hoping that the girls or I don't have any reactions to the "new car smell" that is full of VOCs. I guess we'll just have the windows down for ages to air it out.
I googled Monistat (I haven't heard of it in Australia) and it seems to be an antifungal for completely different reasons to smelly heads.
I would probably be more tempted to try the tea tree oil first to see if that helps, as it has antifungal properties as well. The thing is my scalp is the "picture" of health- no build up, not scaly bits, no itchies (since I used the shampoo to get rid of baby spew smell.
) Hubbies gone away, and in the sweaty, humid weather that we've had, I've done a few WO's to feel clean. I can't smell it anymore, so it mustn't be very strong. No doubt I'll be told in no uncertain terms if it smells when DH returns. He's blunt, but at least he leaves it up to me if I want to shampoo or not.
