My oil is generally solid. I measured once. I use about a gram. If it were liquid (and same density as water, it's not) that would be 20 drops.
How many drops of oil do you use per serving size?

I don't know if it's because my hair is wurly, or even that my bleach damaged hair soaks up oil like nobody's business, but I swear I could douse my hair is any oil and it would look totally normal, just shinier and healthier
A couple drops has never been enough for me

At the moment I apply oil in dry hair and not in damp hair anymore.
I also noticed that in dry hair I need much more oil and it looks excellent. Would I have used the same dosage in wet or damp hair it would not be the same result because it would look greasy.
So 7-8 drops or sometimes even more, but as I said, in dry hair works very well for me.

Depends. If it's for my ends/tips only, generally no more than 3 drops. If its for my lengths as well, add 2 drops more.
If it won't matter If my hair looks "slick" because I'm going to wash it out later the same day anyway, I use like 5-7 drops with perhaps another 3 as a finishing touch before braiding my hair or pulling it up in a bun.

I don't really measure so I can't be sure but between 1/8 and 1/4 cup probably, depending on what I'm doing. About 1/4 cup as a deep treatment on damp hair. It's very greasy but that slip helps me detangle and I just co wash the excess out. If I'm sealing, more like 1/8 of a cup on damp hair and it's mostly on my ends. It still ends up a little greasy but it absorbs into my hair. I would never be able to work just a few drops of oil into my hair, not even a few drops per section. I just wouldn't get an even coating or enough to make a difference in tangle prevention.

For oiling in the morning, I use 4 drops, 2 on each side. Pre poo I use like 1/4 cup and try to saturate my hair

It is very interesting to see how different the dosages are, indeed.
Let's see whether a connection can be noticed between the hair structure and the dosage.
I would expect that categories 3 and 4 would need more oil, as they are said to be dryer than areas 1 and 2.
On the other hand there is perhaps no connection between the oil dosage and the hair structure at all.
Exciting! Let's keep observing this.

It varies. Sometimes it three drops. The first week after hair wash or dry climate, it can be more. But I rather oil often, than too much at once.

Noticed just now that I had written roots instead of ends/tips, so changed it.
