Teazel -- Hmm, do you have too much hair for a French twist? And since there may be a high probability that that just won't work (or you've already done one), if so then do a log roll (and an inverted one if you've already done a regular one of those).

SimplyLonghair -- Sorry it took a bit--I've not used ties for anything for a bit and they were all hiding! Then of course I kept really messing up the pinning or not getting everything 'inside'.

No idea how I got this, considering the other tries were, er, more random lumps:

A log roll it is, then.

Wow, Unnamed, that's a terrific 'do you did, whatever it's called. It looks gorgeous!

Have I asked you do try an Equilibrium Bun before?

Thank you! It was this (sort of a fluffy folded braid).

And, no, I've not been asked to do an equilibrium bun yet!

    Hi all!
I still have a challenge to complete ... maybe tomorrow? ... but I wanted to catch up on what everyone's been doing. There are great styles on display here.

And I've just had a brainwave about keeping track of who has done what style!

*We start a new thread called something like "Hair Game Thread Log Book".
*Each person participating in this thread posts once to the new thread and lists all the styles they have done so far. You could include links for reference (to style instructions and individual Hair Game Thread posts) if you want.
*To add styles you have completed to your own list, just edit your one post.
*The OP of this thread can place a link to the Log Book thread in the first post of this thread, so that it's easy to find in future.
*Searching for a new challenge to give someone? Check the "Log Book" to see what they've done before.
*You could put a link to your individual Log Book post in your signature.

    Does that make sense?
    Think it would be helpful?

    I like it, April!

Where titles are concerned, I'm with the Gaffer: "Make it short, and then you won't have to cut it short before you can use it." So I'd go with The Style Game Log. What say you?

    April, great idea!
Teazel, gah! Unnamed beat me to it. Damned time difference. I'll catch you for your next challenge, he he.

Everyone is doing such a neat job I'll catch up on my assignments soon!

April, that's a great idea, I was just thinking about something like that myself. I'll have time to make my post next week.

I think I'm still open for a new challenge?

Thanks for the title suggestion, Teazel, that's much better.
Alrighty, we have some positive comments ... I'll toddle over and kick that thread off now.

SolSara, a Side/Low Ribbon Bun for you?

Very imperfect attempt at the Timeless Hug Bun:

There's kind of one loop too many at the bottom, and it's too high up... I need to practice some more

It looks pretty nifty already, Isa-belle; I definitely think that's a style worth working on, for you. Your hair looks stunning in twisty, snaky styles.

For your next one, would you like to have a go at the Victorian Updo?

See, the Style Game Log is paying off already! It was so easy to nip over there and choose a style for you.

By the way, this might be obvious to everyone, but in case it isn't: if you go to Search this Thread and do a search on your name it will be easier to find the styles you've done.

I'm still working on that log roll - will probably have a go tomorrow.
