Whew! In July someone gave me hairtaping and referred me to a video by Torrinpaige. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KqbAdvL8kME Sadly, you had to have at least waist to do it. I've been trying to figure out how to do something similar for a while. I finally got it! And at hair that isn't quite APL yet.

Got it from Loepsie http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YqPQ0K8q3EU and modified it a little to be more like hair taping. No bobby pins, after I made the ribboned ponytails I held it in place with a clip and then took the tails of the ribbon and sewed the ponytails to my head underneath the ponytails so you can't see the extra sewing ribbon. I don't have to worry about losing bobbypins and it is definitely more comfortable and is staying wonderfully. I was lazy and tied the leftover ribbon in a bow behind my head, but I think later I'll tie off and tuck the ribbons at the base of the ponytails instead. (I was tired after trying to sew my hair to my head using a mirror and getting confused by the mirror image. It was harder than regular taping as I had to hide the sewing ribbon.)

So I challenge Evalea to hairtaping! Or at least Loepsie's ribbon hairband.

Venefica, It's done nothing but rain for 2 weeks here so I think that you should do something bright and summer like to cheer us up a bit, bright colours, flowers / ribbons / alice bands etc, use your imagination do something completely unique.

If someone wants to give me a style, keep it really really simple please.
