Exfoliating is the only way, and it's effectiveness depends on how many layers of skin got stained. You might have to wait for your skin to "grow" more if it stained too deep.
Has anyone found a good method for removing henna stains from around your hairline/eyebrows? Generally when I do my eyebrows, its when I don't plan to go anywhere for a couple days so the stain can wear off but I have something to do tomorrow and I have quite a lot of light orange on my skin.

Wait a minute; I thought you were off henna and back to blonde. Didn't you recently get a pixie to get rid of henna? Or is that someone else?
As far as staining, I just let it wear off over time. I don't remember it taking very long, but it was more than 10 years ago.
Its not a very deep stain but I don't want to try and exfoliate it off my face, I'll just cover it with make up for now.
Spidermom, I did recently get a pixie but it wasn't to remove the henna. True it did remove most of the henna and gave me a chance to see myself with mostly natural color which I didn't like. I just didn't feel like myself with blonde and I was very self conscience when out in public. I feel better even with my neon orange needs to oxidise color and the weird orange skin around my face lol.
I actually had someone call me "him" today, with blonde I just kind of fade into the background and people tend to overlook me. Now at least people look at me enough to know my gender.
A little girl looked at my daughter yesterday and said "He's wearing a dress". (She wasn't, she had a flowery rain coat on). People aren't very observant!
Back on topic...I usually use skin toner or shampoo on cotton wool to remove stains. I tend to put Vaseline around areas that I think will stain but toner usually gets rid of anything that does stain. Otherwise, as suggested, exfoliation will do the trick. Stains around the face tend to go in a couple of days anyway, skin seems to turnover at a fast rate in that area.
Oh, o.k., gotcha. I hope you find a way to get rid of the stain.
When I was a teenager I stained my hands and nails bright orange because I didn't wear gloves when I applied the henna. And I had to go to school.

Rubbing olive oil and letting it sit for a few minutes is one of the suggestions.

I wipe up after apply too but then I cover my head with plastic and it smears the mud around on my skin. I also have to henna my eyebrows and that's really hard to just get on the hair.
Most of the stain is gone today but there is enough that it looks like a weird orange suntan lol. I can cover the hair line by brushing my bangs forward but it will take a bit of makeup wizardry to fix my eyebrows.
I don't have any OO so I tried coconut, didn't really do much.
I make a sugar scrub with olive oil and sugar and gently exfoliate. Works like a charm!
