I can't see all photos

Hi! I can't see many of the photos in the forum. Maybe that is so because I was absent for a couple of years? since I've come back I believe I have posted at least 50 posts, although I didn't actually count them. Anyway, wanted to know if there's a specific reason or it's a glitch. Thanks!

Some people post on here from private albums, which might be the reason (if you haven't friended them, you can't see the picture).

Also depends on what threads you are reading. Very old threads have missing photos. There are also cases of people linking incorrectly.

In addition to above, ad blockers can block photos on some of the newer photo hosting sites, even though the photos are posted by individuals and are non-advertising by nature.

I use adblock, and will keep that in mind if I can't see an image.

I learned it by accident too. I wish I could remember those few problematic photo hosting sites but they escape me right now. All the old sites are fine, like photobucket, flickr.

I can't recall having a problem to this point (or I attributed it to the pic being removed etc), but as you said......new sites are popping up and adblock can be an issue with them; a good thing to keep in mind
