    Seeing you have some wurls, don't disregard the possibility of new growth from crown to hemline.
    That is what my hair looks like (even more so) ....especially in humid weather when my silver curls.
    There is just no hint of sleekness to it until the air dries out

    My hairdresser said she uses Paul Mitchell tube color. She did not disclose the shade.

    I also have the little flyaways all the time. They are nowhere near as bad now that I use my homemade gel, but they're not gone completely. My hairdresser confirmed that the little shorter pieces that stick out are new growth. It makes sense, because I have hypothyroidism, and before it was under control with medication, I was losing quite a bit of hair.

    Your hair is lovely and wavy, and as others have said, the little flyaways are part of the hair type.
