I too dye mine black with henna and indigo


This is my natural color. It took some aplications to get it black and even more for it to stay black

Hello and welcome to the community Daphane! I do love raven hair color!!! Your hair and color is gorgeous!!! I used to dye my hair black but I'm changing it to red. I've also had my hair all sorts of colors at one point in my life too. I've been dark brown, black, red, brown, medium brown, golden blonde, and then platinum blonde. Enjoy the forum!

I always loved red hair to, sometimes i still miss it.
But my boyfriend loves my black hair so i probaly won't go back to red, plus i'm way to afraid my hair can't handle it.
I always wanted black hair but when i was younger my parents wouldn't let me dye it black, so when I was 18 i dyed it black haha.
To this day it's my favorite hair color

It's a bit off topic but what is your natural color if i may ask?
I'm naturally a blonde so from what i have read I can't get my hair black with indigo.
I use sante hair dye now wich is fine but i'm curious.
Could you maybe infrom me a bit about that if you want to?

Oh my gosh,just found this! My natural color is mousey brown, with lots of grey. I have heard a lot of blondes need to 2-step color w henna, then indigo, but I have had great results putting straight indigo into mine. I have been known to put fun color in my roots between indigo colors, but not always. Yay!!
