    Hello everybody!

    My name's Dorothy and I finally decided to register here and start posting (after being a lurker for a month or so). I hope that I will fit in and find a way to help my husband with his fight against dandruff. Nothing seems to work for him. He used aloe vera shampoo, Coconut oil, tree oil etc. As of right now, he is using hammam body soap and I hope his hair will finally get better.

    For me, Aloe vera is the best and it serves me well.

    Hi & welcome!

    Is it really dandruff, like tiny pinpricks? If it's more like bigger flakes, you might need to visit with a dermatologist as it might be more along the likes of SD (seborrheic dermatitis), in which case you need to keep conditioner & oil off of the scalp. So it's important to know which is which, is what I'm saying.

    I used to have SD but since I stopped putting things on my scalp and using diluted apple cider vinegar has helped a lot.

    Welcome! I'm new as well. My husband also has dandruff, but after browsing I'm starting to believe is SD!!!
