Just discovered that the Pantene Aqua Light conditioner is protein-free as well. Added!

I assume protein is important moderation, though, right? I think Hask Volumizing Chia Seed Oil condtioner and Hask Charcoal Clarifying conditioner are protein free.

Finnish XZ-brand has many protein-free conditioners (available in Finland only, as far as I am aware). Energizing fruit, xylitol and apple are protein free from the top of my hat, but there are other's too.

Could you tell me the ingredients to look for? I know "wheat" or "silk" means protein but what else?

Read the first article in the "sources", a lot of the ingredients to look for are listed on the bottom. HTH!

Thank you SO MUCH Lapushka for posting this list! I went yesterday to restock on my beloved Tresemme Naturals. GONE. Im so upset it's discontinued!! So many people (especially curlies) loved it! I don't understand why...
My hair hates vegetable protein and only likes gelatin/hydrolyzed collagen in very small doses. Hopefully, this list will help me find a new deep conditioner replacement. I used Tresemme Naturals + honey for that. It was a "holy grail" for me!

Oh boy, that's been discontinued for a while! You must have had quite the stockpile. The perfectly undone or botanique might be great for you (and thanks to mizukitty for listing them here).

I had quite the stock pile, and I don't have to DC very often. Are those also silicone free? I've found that silicones work best for me during drier parts of the winter (which isn't much where I live. Extremely humid year round) The rest of the year, I'm silicone free. My hair is just too darn picky! lol Maybe I'll try the Shea Mositure LP conditioner. I loved the shampoo and detangler/leave in for my hair! I just can't use the shampoo due to my scalp issues. Kenra dandruff shampoo is protein and silicone free for those in the same boat as I am. I've been using it and like it a lot.

Edit: ok..sorry...I see in a previous post they are silicone free. Thanks!
