Default Henna that's been defrosted and refrozen

I saved henna from my last application for touch-ups. I put it into ice cube trays. A few days ago, I took a couple cubes out but then ended up not having time. A couple days after that, I defrosted them *again* and then *again* circumstances arose and I had to refreeze it lol.

I have time, finally, today. Can I defrost it and use it? Or should I just defrost two new, fresh cubes?

Defrost them, see if they still stain your hand. They probably will, and if they do, you can use them.

I defrost and refreeze little batches of henna for my nails quite a few times before I mix up fresh ones. It does eventually lose staining power, but it seems to take a while.

I've done it too, over and over

Some of my henna days start with good intentions and end with with me popping my thawed henna right back in the freezer to await my next good intention

Question for all you experienced Hennaheads...I just bought a few boxes of henna online, if I'm not going to use them for awhile, would you recommend freezing the pouches of henna powder?

Yep. I store my henna powder in the freezer.

I'm sitting here now with henna on my head, using henna that I mixed from October of last year(I date my mix) I did a little spot test and it stained like crazy. I remember thawing and rethawing it. Anywho looks like it still a henna staining bomb. Cool!

Update: worked like a charm, still has the staining power, so to me you can use frozen henna (not mixed with indigo because it does not do well frozen) that's been in deep freeze for a longer time. Yea!
