sig on mobile?
noticed recently that my signature is missing from my posts, and suspect it might have something to do with the mobile site. so bear with me...
this, being the original post, can't help being in advanced mode, and has the "show your signature" box checked.

I see that my sig appears on that one, but what about this "quick reply"?

It doesn't appear on the "quick reply".
I have to "go advanced", I guess...

I can tell you that the mobile site can be a bit maddening. (We mods particularly don't like it. I keep accidentally deleting my own posts if I go back because I wanted to edit in an addendum/fix a typo!) I vastly prefer the "request desktop site" option on all my devices, and the signature stays appended that way.

Re: sig on mobile?
Unfortunately, on my glitchy old phone the desktop site is even more maddening; it usually goes something like this:
I look at page of teeny-weeny text.
I zoom the page to make it legible.
Page goes flying to who-knows-where.
I scroll the page to find my spot again.
I click text box to make a comment.
Page shrinks down to microprint as the keyboard pops up.
I zoom page so I can see.
Keyboard disappears.
I click the text box again.
Page shrinks back down as the keyboard returns.
I zoom again... (repeat last few steps several times)
Finally the page stays zoomed, and I start typing.
Page goes flying to somewhere halfway up or so.
I try to scroll back down...
And then suddenly the browser is gone, and I'm staring despairingly at a screen of app icons and widgets.
Stupid phone.
That's why I usually use the mobile version; it's easier on my phone browser and easier to see. I generally only use the full site when I have to; such as when uploading photos, and briefly if I want to see my post count or vote in a poll.
By the way, is there any difference between "default mobile style" and "child of default mobile style"?

Huh, I hadn't seen "child of default mobile style" (probably because I hate the mobile site!).
I wonder if "bride of default mobile style" will be next?
