Default Henna saturation on blond, show me pics:)

Does anyone with natural blond hair have pictures of henna once it reaches saturation color? I'm having issues getting my roots to take color with the henna/cassia blend I'm using and its tempting to switch to straight henna and let it saturate, I'm just not sure what it might look like.

It looks different on everyone; depends on your starting color (no one is exactly the same). That is why I'd recommend you start collecting shed hair and experiment with strands and saturation on your own hair.

But I agree with lapushka, test strands of hair and see if you like the end result.

My virgin hair colour is kind of tawny, dark blonde, light brown coloured and I've done a couple of full head applications and I don't think I'm full saturation yet, but I like the colour I have now, so I'm going to be doing roots only from now on.

I have to say, that is basically why I had it bleached out again. I wasn't at full saturation yet but it was getting so dark (darker inside, because it looks to be a kind of muddy brown then, than my own hair color). And that was it for me. No more henna from that point on. Plus the application part wasn't that easy to get along with either!

That's the result I got on my natural blonde/light brown roots. I'll echo lapushka though in saying that everyone is different and you'll only know once you use the henna on your own hair.

Thanks for the link bunneh, I wish she had more pics in different lighting.

After a second 2 hours root treatment, my roots still don't match the rest of my hair. I know my henna is still good, I did my eyebrows and they turned out fine. Not sure whats going on with my roots but I will try straight henna next time, see if that helps.

Any idea how to get a hair ball saturated? Would it be better to do multiple applications of 3-4 hours or just a couple for overnight? I usually henna for 2-3 hours, can't really stand it any longer then that.

I'd do with your test strands what you normally do with your own hair. But I'd do it on pretty hefty hairballs, otherwise you might not be able to tell that well.
