My first ever Hypno-Bun held with a 60th Street fork I got on the swap board. It's kinda messy but it's up and holding. Yay! A new bun for me.

    Sigh.

I tried the lazy French twist and had it up fine but discovered that hair sticks won't hold it. I'll have to buy a French twist comb or some bobby pins.

So it'll be ye olde boring ponytail again, unless I go with ye olde boring basic bun.

I haven't been able to do all the fancy big buns and wraps and hypnobuns you folks do here. I'll keep trying.

A Japanese bun I found on youtube that I modified so I didn't have to tease it.

Yay! Finally got a version of the lazy French twist to work. It took going to the drugstore in a pouring down thunder-and-lightning rainstorm to try to get a Goody French twist fork. THEY DIDN'T HAVE THEM! (They did last week, darn it.) But I got some Goody's updo pin and with that and one of my sticks, I have a version of that twist.

    Progress.

Maybe slowly I'll acquire alternatives to ye olde boring ponytail or ye olde boring tight bun with a hair stick.

    Thanks, LHC!

Today was a Lazy Wrap Bun held with a Baerreis fork. Very comfortable all day.

Today, I'm wearing my hair up in a braided bun/braided updo. I love this new style.
