Two Dutch braids. The weather is really hot so I needed to have my hair controlled.

I washed it this morning, and when I went out for a doctor's appointment earlier, it wasn't quite dry, so I just stuck a headband in it and left it down. Now that it's dry and I'm home, I have insufficient Give A Damn to do anything fancy with it, so it's twisted up in the giant claw clip on top of my head, which is surprisingly comfortable and keeps it out of my way, which is all I really care about (hairstyle-wise) at the moment.

Cat shenanigans have not been hair-related, but she took her Mischief Pill today for certain! She's been into everything! Silly fuzzball.

A fishtail braid -- which I almost never do, because I'm bad at keeping the sections even and then it looks all wonky, but I think it turned out well today.

I like the Kitteh Reports as well as the hair reports. I can't afford a kitteh right now.

Down, but I swiped it all over my right shoulder, and added few big bobby pins at the back, to hold it in that position. I have to say I am pleasantly surprised how cool it feels like this, almost like an updo or side braid, since my neck and upper back is uncovered by hair (it only touches lightly the right side of my neck but not in a glued kind of way, thanks to the pins). Yet I get the look of it being down. It looks very flattering, being all pushed in the front/side too, and the back view doesn't look strange either, because my loose hair covers those bobby pins. Win win win! I can warmly (coolly?) recommend!
