Well I have to say I was very impressed with my do's staying power today, rugged up & turned out 15 horses, mucked out 15 boxes, did all the yard work in wind, rain & hail & it held perfectly! Actually felt far more secure than when I do a simple bun & use an elastic. If only I could fit it under a riding hat!

started out with a pretty side fishtail braid... which has now fuzzed out from rubbing on my shirt, and has just been banished to a fishtail bun w/ a stick.

A flipped bun. I put off trying this one for a long time because I don't have a hairfork to keep it up, but then I realised that spinpins work just as well. I think I'll add it to my list of favourites.
