Default Can't edit posts on the computer

But I am able to edit my posts on my phone.

I have the edit post button, but I do not have the "save" button, or "cancel" for that matter. All buttons kind of disappear after I click edit.

What do I need to do to get those back?

    Thanks!

I can't edit or quote. When I try to do either, some of the post is missing. It just started recently.

Very strange! I recently needed to update my browser, I wonder if maybe that is the cause some how? Keep us updated on what is happening.

This was happening to me whenever I used Internet Explorer. I switched to Chrome and it worked again, so perhaps it's to do with what browser you use.

There's truth to this. We've noticed that some versions of IE, especially in relation to the particular vBulletin version we run, have difficulty handling some of the code the site uses to display content, and tends to require compatibility mode enabled. I've seen that with new registrants, too, who couldn't complete their registration until that mode was enabled.

That may explain it, Gumball. I run chrome on my phone and IE on my computer. I will switch and see if that helps. Thanks!

ETA: that did it! I downloaded chrome and it now works.

It may differ depending on the version of IE you're running. I don't use it myself, but the version on my comp at the moment is IE 11. On it, when you select the gear icon on the upper right to look at options for settings, one choice is "Compatibility View settings". Within it you can stipulate sites you'd like it to run using its compatibility mode, which takes a different method of handling code on sites. You would be able to add this one, then refresh the page to see if things start to work more correctly for you.

It used to be that there would be an icon in the address bar that resembled a torn piece of paper that served as a one-click compatibility mode toggle.
