    Default Peppermint tea?

Are there any benefits in rinsing my hair with peppermint tea after a shower?

I'm drinking a cup of peppermint tea and it made me wonder.

I'm looking into using peppermint essential oil after seeing the thread on it. I wonder if the tea would have similar benefits but more dilute.

Nadine recently had bad experiences with it, made her hair coated for days. Maybe strand test before pouring it over your head

I was thinking of this when I saw the thread title, from her posts it sounded like a horrible experience so I'd advise caution. That said people do seem to react differently to things so it may work for some. I was actually thinking of including it myself until I saw Nadine's posts so personally decided to play it safe and stick to using the essential oil.

It made her hair coated? What does that mean?
I did it last night and my hair seems fine. It's not super soft but it looks really nice.

Try to find her thread, it was probably a month or so ago, and probably on this subforum.

Glad to hear your hair didn't have the same effect, though!

That's excellent, like I said different people get different results so unless something is obviously a bad idea then often you do just need to try it and see how you react to it. I'm glad it works well for you
