I sewed this leather barrette thing. It was an experiment so it's not the neatest but it's pretty good. A bit heavy for my fine hair. It was inspired by ficcares and other stick-holder solutions. I like the earthy vibe

Hello everyone! I recently became obsessed with making hair toys too, but mine are mostly from metal (one of my hobbies is metalsmithing) and sometimes I modify mass-produced stuff. My friends and relatives mostly have shorter hair and don't understand the depths of my newly-found passion So, I hope, I found the right thread to flood with enthusiasm I can't see many pictures in this thread yet (but I hope one day I will because I'm very curious) but the ones I see are really awesome! The rainbow hair fork is so cute! Make me want to try woodworking.

And here are mine. Those are from copper and nickel silver (wire + sheet). I was obsessed with the idea of stained glass hair forks, so I experimented with clear epoxy resin and dyes. The hair stick was initially supposed to be filled with resin too, but then I decided to leave it as is.
