    Viking-American actually (Scandinavian by ethnicity). Spent some time there used to speak Dansk fluently.

    I understand you boyfriend’s perspective and he’s correct; long hair is very uncommon for men so it takes some guts to wear it. Mine own perspective is this; Vikings DEFINED masculinity and were some of the baddest assed men that ever walked the planet! But they were also very showy and essentially dandies and took great pride in their hair:
