    Don't know if it will make you feel better, but you can easily custom order a spalted maple. She is very easy to work with and her fabulous work is very affordable!

    I have ordered customs before. She didn't have spalted maple at the time

    I'd still be interested in making a swap for either of the remaining Qs, if you were interested in anything in the pic I sent. For the dymondwood one, I have a Birdseye maple GTS threnody, functional is about 4 1/2", that I could offer.
