MsBubbles! WHAT??? No gooseberries in the US, that's scandalous! I also love them but I haven't had them in ages - but they do remind me of my childhood and my grandma's huge garden where I would stuff my belly with gooseberries, redcurrant, white currant and raspberries in the summer and drink lots of mint tea made of fresh mint. Good times...

But stachelbeere could also translate to 'thorny berry' which became my adolescent Internet nick :P how 'rebelious' of me :P
