Default henna on product hair, please answer if you know!

I had my hair cut/washed yesterday (painful and terrible experience again). But anyways, she put conditioner/product near roots/scalp and today I want to henna my white roots, about 1/2 inch. I don't want to wash my hair again before and after henna to get that product out. Does anyone know if henna will take in the same amount of time even with some product/conditioner on??? I Hope so!! I don't want white roots for my son's 1st communion party!!

It shouldn't be a problem, go ahead and put on some henna!

I henna over filthy, "producty" hair all the time!
Slap it on. It'll come out just fine.

    henna keeps it
red, and red makes me happy.
Pixied for 15+ years and liked it.
    Growing for fun.

I almost always henna on dirty, greasy hair, and my results are great. Doesn't matter if I'm hennaing dirty hair or squeaky clean hair, the colour always ends up nice
