Why don't you try a diluted CO wash to stretch your washed? I imagine that would be much more effective and much less sticky, hehe.
So I wash my hair every 2-3 days, and I only use dry shampoo to not look super greasy. I was thinking I could wash my hair with honey, aloe, and/or glycerin in between just to not dehydrate my hair so much. It might remove some of the built up dry-shampoo and oil so I could last another day without shampoo.
If it's pointless to use honey or whatever, could I use a vinegar rinse?
Btw the shampoo I use is Shea Moisture's black soap shampoo, idk if that makes a difference.

Honey, aloe and glycerin are all mostly humectants, which means they are great at pulling moisture into hair, but they don't really have much chemically that would clean anything. CO washing, on the other hand, works because cationic conditioning agents, meant to bind to hair to give slip, can also work the same way as shampoo or soap, by binding to dirt and oil to help water wash it away. You might find that CO could remove the grease and buildup and help with any dryness at the same time.
ETA: Sorry if that isn't natural enough, didn't see what forum this post was in!
lavender oil is great for greasies... but idk if that info helps you at

Hmmm id say try water only washing when you want to stretch it some. Maybe a honey rinse after (i think i used to use a teaspon honey per cup)? I rinsed again after the honey BTW

I should warn you about using glycerine on hair. I once prepared my scalp scrub with it and i STILL get it on my BBB brush as white residue (i'm doing WO)
Have you tried soapnuts? I haven't, but i read that it can clean hair grease.
For greasy hair i strongly recommend a quality boar bristle brush (BBB). I'm on my third week going water only and my roots are as dry as when i used shampoo.

I'm confused. If your hair is dry, why do you need dry shampoo?
I think if your hair is drying out, you probably need a different method entirely. CWC might help, or CO washing or WO washing if your scalp is up for it. You might manage to wash with aloe or other plant-derived products, but it's going to be tricky and require its own troubleshooting. And it might end up not working for you either.
