How should I wear my hair today?

Hi,
Often when I read the "How do you wear your hair today" I never know what I should do that day. So this is a thread for all of you who also don't know.
I Think it can be helpful specially for us "bun and braid noobs". To make it easier for those who will do the helping please say atleast how your hair is.
I need ideas today.
My hair is TBL, normal to thick and straight hair.
I need to wear my hair up (so halfups) and I'm still not so good and coudn't make a french or dutch braid to save my life.
I can do chinese bun (normal and braided), lazy wrap, nautilus and a kind of lying 8. And I can sort of make a cinnamon bun.

How about a faux crown braid?

A simple peacock twist (or tails-up as the Flexi8 site calls it) should suffice, especially if you need to get it up *now* and you haven't mastered any other updos yet.

As I said I really can't make Dutch/french braids but I have Always wondered what that hairstyles name was and how you'd make it so I practiced on Dutch braid instead with a braided bun at the end. It's crooked and bent but it's not a Dutch and french braid combo anymore atleast.

I have a hair wearing problem again.

It's my stepfathers birthday so were going over to my mom's Place to celebrate him (no big celebration though)
I'm thinking of wearing my paranda I made yeasterday (but if I wear that I cant decide if I'm wearing it down or up) or something else

It was so much easier when I only knew like 3 hairstyles
