    Looks great!

    I love this!! I use Got2B 10 in 1 Styling Treatment, KTC Jasmine Hair oil, Aussie Dual Personality Coloured Hair Protection + Shine Serum. My wurls are so much more defined and soft this way, I don't lose half as much moisture!!

    My silver is so fine and wispy now, plus with new growth from crown to my hemline....it was a big head of POOF

    This seems to define the wurls in my length and smooth the shorter hairs in the crown for a softer look
    For special occasions.....anything untamed is managed with some texture cream, a spritz of rosewater & glycerin, or hair spray.

    Thanks Lapushka...great idea

    I think I might have gravitated towards a LOC-type thing after a wash without realizing it. Lately, I've been doing:

    L=Water (wet from the shower)
    O=Unrefined coconut oil
    C=Nightblooming hair salve

    I haven't trimmed my old pixie ends in a year and they are in great shape thanks to this and keeping them tucked away.

    Yes you can use plain water as your liquid as well. It's either a leave-in or a true liquid. It depends on your routine.

    Hey guys!

    I do the LOC method pretty religiously. I also learned it from naturals on youtube. I do it in the traditional way.

    L= wet hair with conditioner for slip (I now use the Hask conditioners because they have great ingredients and aren't specialty so I don't worry about stores no longer carrying it or about them changing their ingredients (like my beloved Yes to Carrots Pampering Conditioner )
    O= lots and lots of evoo
    C= pure cocoa butter that I emulsify in my hands until it's creamy

    It's the only way to lock moisture in my hair and the only way to keep my strand smooth and all going in the same direction. Makes my twists nice and shiny and my twist outs are super gorgeous.

    CURRENTLY: waist straight (28") GOAL: waist braidwaves (35")

    That's great!
    Hey, has your hair grown? Did you change your avatar of late. It seems like it's grown - so much!

    Okay, I have some questions (sorry! lol).

    For LOC.. the leave-in conditioner that I currently have (which I just bought two days ago) is the Shea Moisture leave-in.. and it's creamy. I also have an APhogee leave-in that is liquid.
    For the O, I have coconut oil, and I also have an olive oil (blended with a few other oils).
    For the C.. I don't know. I guess I don't have one. That's part of the reason I joined, is to find out what I should be doing to my hair so I don't have to use heat on it every day. It is super poofy and wavy. I'm waiting for it to air-dry now so I can post a picture and get some input from y'all..

    Anyway.. my question.. Should I be using a liquid leave-in, then oil, then leave-in cream? Or should I pick the liquid or cream and only use one or the other? I know I saw in some of the past posts that there's a reason behind layering it in a particular order, so I'm curious which way would likely be best.

    Also, what is oil rinsing/washing?
