I could have sworn there was a thread/list about protein free conditioners and cone free conditioners and both, and it wasn't just conditioners I think it had shampoo too....was I imagining things? I never bookmarked...always came back here to find it...can someone point me in the right direction? THanks!

There's probably a dedicated list, and I'll make a point of looking for it soon. In the meantime, I know that a list got added to the beginning of the SMT thread. That should help you get started. (International members: it's worth noting that formulations on some of these products vary by country, especially where silicones are concerned. Which is stupid, but it comes back to the fact that nothing replaces checking the ingredient list for yourself.)

Hello, is there such a thread that lists different oils and their effects on hair/scalp?

: Oh, great! Thank you Anje. I was thinking about searching for threads on these topics, but decided it was too much work: you've done it for me!
