At least TBL, because then the braid falls at least to my hips. And since I trimmed off 6", the end is thicker.

For me a plain english braid was "decent" at bsl, "long" at waist, and now a little past hip it is starting to reach "inconvenient", at least for work.

I have been considering cutting up to waist lately :O It is currently just above TB, b/c I keep trimming it...

II answered APL, because I felt it was the right answer. I know many think that braids have to be long to look good, but:
1) Before joining my hair were quite thinner, so my braids always looked pityful. When I got to APL, it was SO MUCH thicker, and prettier, I fell in love instantly. I think that the thing that will prevent me to return back to flat iron and dyes is my thickness, not my lenght: even if I ever choose to cut back my hair, I'm not gonna have them thinning out.
and 2) Since I got to BSL my braid doesn't lie flat anymore... it seem to coil on herself, like a giant curl

Tailbone. I'm at Hip and it's still impossible to make my braids look good, plus curls and all that, ugh.
Haven't updated my avatar in awhile, maybe soon.
I voted waist. My hair has reached waist (which for some reason feels short!!!), and my plait reaches mid back, I'd say, and it's just not good enough. It might be because I have kind of fine hair? I only ever wear single plaits down my side and that snatches a bit of the length as well.

My hair is waist length (but nearly to hip), and I still feel like my braid is far too short. I think that my braid will only feel substantially long at classic and beyond.
At hip! Next goal: Tailbone length. Final goal: fingertip length.

I voted for MBL, I noticed once I got to waist my braid was a little too long to wear unbunned for work, (since I'm running around and can't afford to have it getting into things) but a mid back braid looks long and pretty but is still practical to wear "down" in almost any situation.

My hair is at hip lenght loose and reaches a little past my waist when braided in a french braid. Id still say it feels pretty short at this lenght... but then again, after a couple of years of lurking at LHC my perception might be a lil´off
I like to feel my braid bumping the back of my calves, it is for sure my favorite braid length
What you find irresistable is what you choose not to resist.
I'm at tailbone and I feel like the ends of my braid are thinning out. Hip feels better for me.
