Talking Do you like my bow?

I was trying to do a french twist, using Cinnamon hair's instructions

It didn't turn out right. It turned out more like this:

And I thought, hey, that looks like a sideways bow! So I rolled it the opposite way, and voila! I thought it neat.

That is an absolutely fantastic invention! Your hair is unbelievably shiny! Princess Leia, eat your heart out.
    Maybe my worst haircut ever.

How did you do that? Would you be so kind as to post instructions?
    I LOVE your bow.

    That's gorgeous!

You can see action shots of my quite large hair toy collection here (Note: this is an ongoing project).

    Thanks everyone

WritingPrincess, the instructions closely resemble Cinnamon Hair's french twist: http://classiclength.home.mchsi.com/...ons/index.html

You start with the hair in a pony tail in the left hand, and fold the length with your right hand in a 6-8" long fold. Once it reaches your head, instead of twisting it like you would a french twist, you hold it horizontal and twist it from the bottom up. (or from top to bottom, which gives a slightly different effect). Then secure (I used a ficcare beak)

Very clever! You should have a viewer warning on those pictures though, that shiny hair of yours nearly blinded me!

The bow is very cute! Im already planning how I'd do two pigtail-style and slightly messy next time I wash.
You have beautiful hair, and I can't help but thing a nice faux flower pinned in between the roll and the crown would look fantastic.
