Except that anecdotal evidence isn't the same as scientific evidence, and it's not taking other possible factors into account, the main one being that hair doesn't grow consistently anyway. For instance, when I had 3" of growth in a little over a month, I could have said it was because I didn't take supplements, or for any number of reasons, but the fact of the matter is I don't have any explanation for it other than that it just grew faster for a while. Hair apparently growing faster while taking biotin is not proof that biotin is responsible for the increased growth; coincidence is not the same as causation.
