Henna on my hair colour

It might be hard to avoid the orange, especially before oxidizing and on your roots which are always going to be lighter if you want burgundy/auburn. Also, most people's henna flare a bit orange in the sun, no matter how many layers they have. Cassia is also called neutral henna and has similar effects but isn't permanent other than occasionally on very light hair. So no worries about using cassia! It might be a good start to get used to mud in your hair. I'll give you some links to read Just forget what they say about lemon juice.

Hey! I have a hair color similar to yours, although your brown is a bit more chocolatey while mine was ashy indoors and blondish on sunlight...

and here's after my henna oxidised (this is near a window) on closed enviroments with fluorescent lights it looks prettey much like my natural color..
