Default How often do you wash your hair?

I was just curious how often people wash their hair?
I only wash once a week and was wondering if that's a normal thing to do? If you are like me, do you do anything to it between washes?

Almost every (work)day, sorry to say... Previously my hair simply got oily after one day, however now after first a couple of years on CO and then half a year on diluted non-SLS shampoo, it doesnīt actually get so oily the second day any longer (except during certain times of the month...). Sometimes it even looks quite OK on the third day oiliness-wise. But, even if it isnīt so oily, it simply doesnīt look good! It is scrunched from sleeping, wave pattern/lengths totally disrupted into frizz/fluffiness, and since it is most "disrupted" around my face/scalp it doesnīt look good even if I put it up. So I need to at least wet it down, and I usually get better results if I rinse it with a very mild dilution of my shampoo-and-ACV mix rather than just water (and no, it isnīt enough with a good spraying, it needs a total wet-down).

Or maybe I am just sensitive regarding how it looks unwashed, I donīt know... I just donīt feel nice if I donīt wet it, and I have tried numerous times...

I wash my hair whenever I want it to look great when down or a couple times a week, ranging from every other day to about every 4-5 day.I usually wash my bangs daily, unless it's windy and I'll be wearing them pinned or braided.

about every 3 days or 4 days, or twice a week. The longer it gets, the less often you have to wash! I do occasionally stretch to 5 or 6 days or even 7.

My washing pattern varies a lot! I experimented with SO last year and loved the softness and the low maintenance, but I do enjoy wearing my hair down every now and then so I've reverted back to sporadic washing. Sometimes the urge to swish my hair about won't strike me for months at a time, but my washing usually averages out to once a month or so- I'm three weeks in now but I'll be washing on Wednesday as I want to see what the famous SMT does for my hair =]

My hair *needs* about 2 to 3 washes a week, only: it gets 1 wash a week. It's called stretching your washes, and we do it because it's more convenient right now.

Every three or four days. I actually feel I could stretch my washes more and have my hair look and feel fine, but I'm currently addicted to prewash deep coconut oiling, so there's just no way I can wait longer ˆ)

I wash every 4 days... roughly... well in reality I only wash when I feel I need it AND I have to go out, otherwise I simply let it be. I tried stretching to once a week, more out of laziness than anything else, but I started shedding so I had to reverse to every 4 days... I'll start CO washing this week so this might change!

(Currently I use 1 part sls free shampoo in 9 parts water.)

I wash all of my hair every two weeks, on my Saturdays off work, and on the Saturdays that I do work I do just a scalp wash. So, every other week, I'd say.

I wash my hair about every 5 days, so that works out at once to twice a week. Sometimes I will stretch to every seven days.
