Hey gals (and possibly guys!!)! Time to update... looks like I have about an inch or two to go! My goal of waist length by September is looking more plausible all the time!
Growing out some faded henna, then I'll see where I'm going from there.

Lovely! If I were in your shoes I think I'd be calling that waist.

I am trying not to measure mine until the end of the month... I am going to be so bummed if it isn't showing noticeable growth. Sigh. I tried wearing it down a few times this week and every time my little boys were playing in it like it was a jungle vine or tent. :/
I'm still figuring out where I'm going. I think I'll know when I get there.
Until then I'm going to keep it simple and take it easy.

    I'm brushing waist straight.

I have a ton of regrowth after anemia induced shedding that makes for insane frizz.

...the urge to chop my hair is nuts. I won't until at least September, but omfg am I not loving my hair right now.

I suppose you've already tried some aloe vera gel for the frizz? I have a lot of breakage frizz around my head, aloe seems to smooth it down nicely.

And here's the picture to prove it (Ignore my messy hair there. I really should learn to brush my hair pretty for pictures...):

Very nice! I'd say you're already there

Here's my hair as of a few days ago. I just trimmed a few weeks ago, so my hair is just a bit below BSL. I'll be here for a looong time. Anyway, this was more a, "surprise waves!" moment. My hair is not combed in the pic either... but waves!

Thanks guys for the comments and it's so nice to get more opinions on my length. Maybe soon I'll start to believe I'm actually waist length and just about to graduate from this thread! I haven't had this long hair in 3 years.

Either I mismeasured or Get Growing tea really works. My hair has reached WL!

I'm with you on this one. This has been the longest journey I swear. I started out good but now feels like it hasn't done anything in months and months. I don't even take photos anymore. I'll get back in the swing of it soon.

May's length shot. I don't know, I feel like I've gotten no growth. On the plus side, I do feel like when my hair is a foot longer it's going to look really pretty air-dried. Also, it appears I am starting to form a V, which would explain why updos have been so finicky.
