I have and for a deeper red I would definitely reccomend going with the Red Raj
Hello everyone,
I´m in doubt about which henna is best for my hair. The length of my hair is chemically dyed with red tones from the naturtint hair dye series (with henna underneath). My roots are dark blondish. I´m going back to henna because the chemical dye fades out to quickly..
In my quest for the best ´red´ henna I found these three:
http://www.hennasooq.com/red-raj/ (Red Raj, 3,29% lawsone content)
http://www.hennasooq.com/fresh-jamila-henna-powder-2012 (Jamila, 2,69% lawsone content )
http://www.mehandi.com/shop/hairhenna.html (Rajasthani Twilight, 2,6% lawsone content)
I´m tempted to go with the Red Raj based on the lawsone content. Did any of you had experience with al three above? Should I base my choice on the dye content alone?
My native language is not English, my apologies for any mistakes in advance.

Id go for red raj if I was you,I love deep red instead of that orangey color.
I personally use Jamila!
Here's my "before" color (dyed with Féria box dye)
With one full head application of Jamila:
I just bought red raj but haven't tried it yet. I was using Yemeni, but now it's hard to get. Yemeni had great color deposit, but I hear that Red Raj has even more.
I have a quick question for those answering here (didn't think it was worth making a whole new topic).
What is the dye release time for Red Raj? Yemeni was only 3-4 hours, but Jamilia is 12. There seems to be much variation, so I want to get it right.

Red Raj is so awesome. It rinses out easier than Jamila, also, IMO.
It yields a rich deep red color instead of orangey tones which other henna types have.
I get dye release with Red Raj pretty fast, like an hour, but I use hot water when I mix it.
@ Magalo: thank you for your after and before pictures. You´re hair looks lovely.
This hurts: the shipping costs for 1 kg of Red Raj would be 59,95 dollars. Making it total 129,95 for 1 kg of Red Raj (for shipping it to Europe...)
And I love the deep red..
I can't edit my posts yet so sorry for double-posting!
