If you mean your layers growing OUT...then yes, increased layer length = increased thickness.
If you just cut layers IN....then maybe your hair type is increasing in volume/curl with less length/drag
Usually cutting layers in = thinner ponytail circumference.
Either way....yay for your increased thickness

I really do feel better about my hair since I've been keeping it down everyday lately. I feel frumpy and ugly with my hair up unless I wear makeup and I don't like makeup right now. I'm also washing twice instead of once a week now because it makes it feel nicer.

I'm really not happy with my flyaways today!
When I got to class today, after running across campus because super late, I was so hot that I really needed to get my hair up and off my neck. I usually do a cinnabun, but I've been trying to mix things up a little because breakage. So I grabbed a chopstick and tried an LWB, which is usually a huge production because I have to take off my rings and it gets stuck and slips out and all that nonsense. But it totally worked on the first try! I was so happy...and couldn't really show it because my students would think I was a total nerd. But it was a pleasant Monday victory, and I didn't have to take off my jewelry. And it's messy, but 5 hours later and it's still holding rock-solid.
It's the little things, y'all.
"All things strive."
Waist-length, and (grudgingly) rocking the fairytale ends. Hoping for hip by the end of 2019 with at least a semi-decent hemline. Ultimate goal of TBL...or longer.
Castor oil is really, really thick. Really.

WO/SO due to scalp hating EVERYTHING! Slowly regrowing from a massive shed and trimming often to keep the ends healthy.
