day 24, wrapped bun with a fakkare at the beach
It's whatever you want it to be It started initially as support for people who never wore their hair up because they felt they looked bad with it up, but who wanted to wear it up for protection. However, everyone pretty much makes up their own rules now. I don't have enough styles to do a whole month, but I'm trying to learn new styles so I am not allowing myself to wear the same style twice a week. Others are just trying to keep it up for protective purposes.

You make up your own rules, Shorty. Whatever works for you...Some days I get in a rut and do a week worth of English Braids or Cinna Clippy Buns, as you may have noticed if you look back--Those are my two "stand by" styles, that are quick and easy...My hands know exactly where to go out of instinct...Some folks have popped into join us for a few weeks and some have stayed longer--Some come in and out--ALL are welcome, and pictures (for inspiration) are ALWAYS welcome too.
