I've been a lot better in the past week. The pattern seems to be that if I put my hair up before I leave in the morning, it stays up until I get home and want to play with my toys. If I wait and put it up at work, I change 3 or 4 times before I come home for the day for no reason other than I wanted to fidget.
That actually sounds a lot like me. When I happen to be wearing a hairstick bun, I need to be in front of a mirror for it to turn out okay or something, so if I'm not in front of a mirror when I make the bun it gets fidgeted back in and out maybe 6 times. When I have it in the claw clip like I do now, I continually seek out loose bits of hair and try to stuff them in the clip. The trouble is, I'm growing out layers so they never all go in.

Just so you all know, I'm on day 20 (26 in base 10) and I am wearing my claw clip regularly. I am trying again to stuff all the hair in instead of leaving the ends poking out. I think that's more protective, especially because it's winter here.

I vote you stay (if you want, of course!)
    Thanks, everyone, for your support!
I am definitely staying. I just wonder if it's a little meaningless sometimes to post what style I'm wearing every day, because I go through weeks (yes, weeks) where I have the same style. Nothing wrong with that, but I think I may only post what style I have when I have just changed it.

When I wear a claw clip it is just twisted and clipped in the back. That's the only way I have really ever seen anybody wear a clip but I'm curious if there are other ways to wear one. I have a really gorgeous clip I bought on a clearance table.

This is the fifth day in a row that I have worn a cinnabun, and I feel like I am doing something very good for my hair. I have been wearing it down way too often lately and I have also been using heatless curl methods quite often, which can be terrible for hair. Now that my hair is getting long, the ends are more fragile so I need to start wearing my hair up 90% of the time. I'm looking to make wearing my hair up an everyday thing. We'll see how long this lasts...wish me luck.
