Wear hair up for a month/few months/year challenge!

Ive lost count, but I know Ive gone at least two months. Wearing a dutch crown braid today, and will be keeping it in as long as possible with the aid of a sleep bonnet

I'm going to try do this for 100 days with a maximum of three 'down days' per month. Down being more than one hour down. (yeah, I'm a weakling. I can't handle having my hair up all the time, I like to touch it )

Day 9: Stick bun with two sticks
I decided to try stick buns some more, at least for today. However, I had another one of those "special occasions" and my hair has been down for the past, oh, two hours, I think. I had my dance class and my bun was sub-par, and we all know how that turns out. I had to pull out the chopsticks in the middle of the dance.
I may have to give up on this challenge. My hair doesn't suffer that much damage just from being down anyway, probably just because it's so short. I always have a funny piece sticking out of my buns because of the section of hair that's collarbone or shoulder length. From the front it just looks like a bob because the front is just barely past chin length. This all results in the supposedly trendy messy bun, but I have no interest in trends or messy hair. And as an aside, I often see people with BSL-waist hair wearing it down all the time and it looks great, and my hair is only APL so I feel funny wearing it up around them.
Okay, that was a lot. Now I have to go to bed, because I have yet another load of math homework awaiting me tomorrow and I should be awake for it.
