Today is Day 104. I've done basically the same thing that ycelong did. It's secured with a fakkare and I put it too low, so there's this poofy part sticking up above with bunches of little ends poking out everywhere. Looks like my twistybun exploded, sort of. It's goofy, but hey, it's up!!!

Well, welcome, sister in redness!!!! You have some amazing red curls. I love them!

I always wished for curly hair. My sister got it. Funny, she always wished for straight hair!

Day 11 of 32: Pigtail braids. Fuzzy ones... I'm still rather ill. Sicker than yesterday. Even being online is wearing me out... But, the hair is outta the way... For the most part.

Day 64: Weird foldy bun/chingnon thing. Held by three good days hair pins with a yellow ribbon for decoration and the DBF. It's my birthday so I wanted to embrace the first day curls instead of pulling them out for a bun or braid.

For some reason I couldn't make a gibson tuck work. I can never make them feel secure, but this time it was completely retarded. Anyone else have that problem? Perhaps with a bit more length I could just do a topsy tail, wrap the ends back over and pin them. Hmm... We'll see. If I don't chop to chin length or much shorter in a couple weeks (yes, two week rule is in full effect) I'll try for a couple more inches and maintain there. Maybe I'll be able to do things then. Ugh.

MadPirateBippy: Have you tried a log roll to replace your french twist? There's also a method that involves starting the twist like a high ponytail and then coiling the length around your fingers before tucking. Either of those should work at your length. My hair's far too short for a log roll now. And I'm sure if you look around enough you'll find plenty of 'do's your length will be perfect for!

    Edit: Now with more picture.

Day 5: Random twisty beebutt-ish damp bun. I just separated my hair into two sections and twisted them one around the other. It's got little messy bits sticking out all over the place, but it's holding for now, which was my primary goal...

I finally went to Icing and bought a couple of cheap plain hairsticks, to tide me over until my Ketylo order arrives... No more pencils, yay!

Smokie: Your hair is gorgeous! That yellow ribbon looks fantastic against the red.

    Day 12 of 32:

A braid that I just threw together without combing or waiting for my hair to dry.

I was going to bun... But that's not really comfy for resting... And that's all I'm really capable of today.

Joiful, are you not feeling well? Enjoy your rest!

Today is day 105. 260 days left. I hennaed my roots last night, according to plan (at least something did, in fact go as planned!), and this morning I followed up with a gloss made from the leftovers on the rest of my hair (sorry for the odd sentence structure there...).

I'm having a very good hair day today!!!

It's up in a weird little twisty bun. Secured with a single hair stick since I forgot to bring another one with me this morning!

Yep. And I am trying. It's kinda hard when laying down isn't very comfy (too stuffy).

I have managed to get my hair up in a cinnabun with clippies. It feels nice to have my hair up. "Sickie hair" just makes me feel even sicker, if that makes sense.

I'm about to do another crown braid.
