Online swap???

Seeing as many people have had to stop the swapping boxing in Canada and other locations, I had an idea. What if we do an 'online' swap? We can gather people who are interested in participating, then take photos of items we have for 'swap'. We can combine it in a thread designated for the location stated, and people can swap toys that way, with an individual, rather than it going all over the place? This way, there is a bit more of a guarentee that you will get an item instead of the box going missing.

How is that different from the way the swap board works now? Just curious, not sure if I'm quite getting what you have in mind. If it happens all at once it might be a bit cumbersome, especially if people don't want what others are offering...

I was thinking if people had items already for the swap box, we could all localize a swap within our areas here. That was the only difference I guess. Sorry, when I posted, I was pretty tired

If you want to swap locally, you could always specify that on your swap. People do that sometimes to minimise postage etc. I don't see why you couldn't do a 'Canadian swap' thread to offer your items.

Yes,that's what I was thinking---leading a 'canadia swap' thread or so forth.
